The intralesional injections of hCG were well tolerated; there were only mild side effects in some patients. One patient receiving 250 IU reported vertigo, mild dizziness, and nausea that resolved after stopping the drug. One patient receiving 1000 IU reported headache, nightmares, and fatigue, all of which resolved by the second week of therapy. A second patient, also receiving 1000 IU, reported mild fatigue.
